The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission announced today the launch of an ambitious project to automate its services in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
The initiative aims to transform 22 services into fully digital offerings through government digital channels, adhering to the highest national standards. The implementation plan, which began last month and spans eight months, includes two phases:
Phase 1: Launch of 16 e-services by February.
Phase 2: Full automation of all 22 services by April.
The project also includes 24 months of maintenance and technical support post-implementation. The system will be hosted on the government cloud and integrated with key partners, including the Civil Status Department, Ministry of Higher Education, the eFAWATEERcom payment system, and the SANAD application.
Digital ID will be used for secure access, ensuring instant data verification and eliminating paper-based processes. The joint team has completed business process analysis and unified interface design, with comprehensive performance, cybersecurity, and user experience testing planned before the pilot launch.
The ultimate goal is to build a unified system that simplifies accreditation, recognition, and equivalency procedures, while providing dashboards, performance indicators, and reports to support decision-making—delivering faster, more transparent services to beneficiaries.
